Overplaying your hand

The phrase “overplaying your hand” essentially means undermining or destroying the chance of success through over confidence.  This applies very much to the LGBTQ demanding that the entire month of June be assigned to their agenda.  We are now halfway through the month of June and all hell has broken loose in reaction to the Pride requirements.

Private corporations like Anheuser-Busch, Target, and Disney, among others have inadvertently insulted their customers by directly appealing to the LGBTQ.  Customer pushback has resulted in corporations cutting LGBTQ advertising and promotions  in order to salvage both their profits and reputations.  This, of course, has led to LGBTQ complaints and threats of violence.

In public schools, students who have had enough of the Pride activities have taken action.  In a number of schools in California, the tampon dispensers placed in boy’s bathrooms were ripped off the walls and displayed in the toilets.  In Massachusetts, demands from school teachers and administrators to celebrate a Pride day with associated rainbow colors led to a revolt of the kids who wore red, white and blue, refused to wear Pride stickers, and  ripped Pride posters off the walls.  (It is noteworthy that the Muslim and Armenian segments of the American population have opposed the transgenderization of schools.} 

Women’s sports continue to be under attack by men masquerading as women.  Significantly, more women and girls are speaking out and fighting back.  While masquerading men continue to compete successfully against women, more and more women are refusing to accept the obvious injustice.  (Riley Gaines, a nationally recognized female swimmer, has started an organization intended to fight the destruction.  She was  recently harassed and assaulted by a group of leftist and LGBTQ activists.)   

The Biden administration has had its share of LGBTQ controversy.   They recently placed the LGBTQ flag in a dominant position vis-à-vis the American flag and sponsored a party that led to nudity by a couple of individuals who had surgically modified their bodies for sexual purposes.  The US military continues to suffer from recruitment problems and America’s international relations are bad and getting worse by the day, particularly in Islamic regions that were previously pro-US.

The remainder of June is going to be very interesting as more and more of the LGBTQ agenda is aggressively forced upon the American citizenry.  Individuals and groups, including the medical establishment, that considered the LGBTQ agenda benign or even worthy of support are rethinking and reconsidering their decisions and plans.  (Even the churches are having to make a choice of what to support.  The choice of Biblical truth versus the modern social justice agenda has recently caused a major split in America’s largest protestant Methodist denomination.)
