Donald Trump has earned outsider status by receiving the fewest donations from Capitol Hill of any candidate in 24 years.
Only one member of Congress, and one candidate running for Congress, has donated to Trump’s campaign for a total of $3,292. In contrast Hillary has received $560,942 from 138 from current, former and hopeful Democrat members of Congress. She’s one of them, Trump is not.
