I’m sure it’s not what Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, and Joe Biden want to do, but at this point, their policies will likely do just that.
The Democrat leadership interpreted the 2020 election as a mandate for a socialist paradise, despite losing more House seats than they won, playing to a tie in the senate, and dubiously winning the White House by a few thousand votes.
Hillary Clinton and those same Democrats lost the 2016 election because they ignored the invisible constituency, the Forgotten Man. They believed that they were entitled to power and that Donald Trump could not stand in their way.
Donald Trump believed in refocusing the Republican party on the forgotten, the unorganized but the indispensable units of economic power found in the American working class, what we call the blue-collar worker.
Watching the former presidents’ CPAC speech, you can tell that he is still all-in on his administrations 4-year focus on the Forgotten Man and policies that entrenched traditional American values.
Observing a predatory, progressive tax code, Trump correctly concluded that initiative and ambition are crippled by regulation and a tax system that denies the Forgotten Man the right to receive a reasonable share of his earnings.
By 2018, this policy was vindicated by a surging economy, rising wages, and record low unemployment across all demographics. Without Covid-19, it is safe to assume that women and minorities would now be working at what is considered full employment.
The Democrat leadership, mentioned above, are trying to go all-in on transforming the US market economy into a socialist economy. Bernie Sanders’ Senate Budget Committee is already pushing a tax and regulatory agenda that will anchor the economy back to what Barack Obama called the “new normal” that Trump proved otherwise.
Despite the Democrat party’s claims, they do not relate to the Forgotten Man. Their donors are Wall Street and Big Tech and Union executives. They are willing to put fourteen million out of work to give nine million a raise to fifteen dollars an hour because they don’t understand the economy.
The Forgotten Man is not a Democrat or Republican or liberal or conservative.

The Forgotten Man is not a Democrat or Republican or liberal or conservative. The Forgotten Man resents any government that is telling him how to live.
The Forgotten Man’s union dues have shot up. Still, his union leaders use his dues to support political candidates he doesn’t know or like, and proffer legislation against his families’ best interests.
The Forgotten Man doesn’t want war but hates losing them even more. He wants nations to co-operate, but doesn’t tolerate those who try to take advantage of American generosity.
The Forgotten Man is totally supportive of the legal immigration that brought his forefathers to American shores. But he also cheers on ICE tracking down and deporting criminal illegal aliens.
If President Biden and his cronies keep heading down this road, they not only invite President Trump back into the fray, they invite a Republican Supermajority. In that circumstance, Democrats could be out of national power for a generation.
The Forgotten man does not want to pay four, five, or six dollars per gallon gas as punishment for not driving matchbox size cars. The Forgotten man does not want heating oil, electric, and propane prices to double to make environmentalists have warm fuzzy feelings.
The Forgotten man does not want his little princess to lose her place on her sports team because little Bobby down the street can’t compete with the other boys.
If you add all of these programs together, you get one undeniable sum. Progressive tax codes + Green New Deals + unfettered immigration = Donald J. Trump’s election and a Republican super-majority in 2024.
If you don’t think it is possible? Ask the Forgotten Man!
