Former Congressman and Presidential candidate, Ron Paul has endorsed conservative Shak Hill in the 10th district. Hill is challenging incumbent Congresswoman Barbara Comstock in a primary on June 12. From politicselections.com:
It’s time to pass liberty’s fight to a new generation of leaders and fighters,’ Paul said in his endorsement of Hill, highlighting the importance of electing a new generation of legislators to lead the liberty movement. ‘With anti-liberty forces fighting harder than ever in Congress, we need leaders unafraid to stand up for our freedom. Shak is such a great man. I’m pleased to give him my full support and endorsement to represent Virginia’s 10th Congressional District.
Shak Hill responded:
‘I am deeply honored to receive the endorsement of Dr. Ron Paul,’ Hill said. ‘I will always remember how many times Ron Paul stood alone and was often the single no vote to unconstitutional bills. A fighter for what is right, I will carry the torch of liberty that Congressman Paul carried for so many years forward and will daily fight for our Constitution and our nation.’
