The grassroots of the Republican Party in Virginia are taking back our party from the consultant class. That’s what RPV’s Grassroots Challenge is all about. No longer will OUR party belong to the fat cats and consultants. No longer will we be beholden to them. [read_more]But to do that we need money, money from thousands of grassroots, real people who want to take back the party. Thousands of conservatives across the state are pitching in, as are our grassroots elected representatives in Richmond. Congresswoman Barbara Comstock, Senator Dick Black and Delegate Randy Minchew have each contributed $1,000. For every dollar we contribute the very generous Pete Snyder and Curtis Colgate will match. If you can contribute $25, or $50 or $100, it is immediately doubled thanks to those two generous gentleman. Your $25 becomes $50, your $50 instantly becomes $100. So please, give generously. We need to take back our party! Let’s make it OUR party!
Ed Gillespie sent this message explaining what the Grassroots Challenge can do for our party:
The Grassroots Challenge will turn $100,000 into $200,000 to help RPV:
- modernize our Party by ensuring that our Internet, social media and communications efforts are second-to-none
- unite our Party against the liberal Democrats by developing a 2015-2017 war chest that can compete with the Obama/Clinton/McAuliffe machine during this crucial election cycle.
- expand our Party by recruiting up to 10,000 new supporters and volunteers across the Commonwealth
RPV wants to know who you want to run for President so take their straw poll here and while you’re there, please throw some money in the kitty for our grassroots party. Let’s all join together to Take Back the Republican Party of Virginia!
