Where in the world is Rep. Jennifer Wexton? Remember her, Congresswoman in the 10th district? No one has seen her for months, if not longer.
Of course, all politicians in the 10th district participate in multiple 4th of July parades in the delightful little towns that dot the district. While the Republican candidate for Congress, Hung Cao was in attendance at all festivities on the 4th, (sweating along with the rest of us)Wexton did not appear. On BlueVirginia.us there are daily articles, (sometimes more than one) about Democrat Rep. Abigail Spanberger, running for re-election in the 7th district, and Democrat Rep. Elaine Luria running in the 2nd district. But Mr. Feld very rarely writes about Miss Wexton. Where is she? Has she decided not to run for re-election but has not announced her plans to those of us down on the farm (ie voters)?
Senator Jill Vogel raised only $1,500 in the first half of this year. Is she not running for re-election next year? Or simply waiting for Daddy to shovel into her coffers all the money she might need? Might she be getting the judgeship she is rumored to be hoping for?
Ron Vitello It was overheard at a recent Republican soiree that he, a former border patrol agent and deputy director and acting director of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, intends to run against Virginia Senator Tim Kaine in 2024. That would be very welcome news! Heaven knows we need to get rid of our two do-nothing Senators.
