Bull Elephant contributor, Dave Webster, passed away Monday night July 19, 2021 after short, but intense, complications from cancer.
Dave wrote for the Bull Elephant during most of the past decade on political and legal issues of importance to Republicans throughout Virginia. Republican activists in Fairfax County and specifically the Town of Herndon came to recognize Dave as a staple at our meetings and events. In the Town of Herndon, Dave Webster was a household name as he was regularly involved in local politics and ran for town council. Dave was the kind of person who you could oppose politically, but then work with him together the following week.
Dave’s intellect was routinely applied in the practice of law. He served the people of northern Virginia in their personal and business affairs, as well as in court. I relied on him for professional insight periodically and appreciated his skill and demeanor.
One-on-one and behind closed doors Dave was a committed friend and persistent ally. He will be sorely missed.
It is understood that a formal obituary will be prepared by surviving family.
We will post any additional information as we receive it.
