For several months now, we have been told by left of center propaganda that what we need is Frederick First, that people like Gary Oates (Running for the Chair of the Frederick Board of Supervisors) and Kevin Kenney (Gainesboro District) are really Republicans who will do the right thing.
Well at a recent Frederick First rally in the past few days, it seems that both Gary Oates and Kevin Kenney are proving that they are the tax and spend liberals that so many of us have been saying. Both Mr. Oates and Mr. Kenney have come out in favor of an increased meals tax. This was done at a recent Frederick First rally, and this was said both in front of restaurant owners and directly to restaurant owners.
One can assume that Supervisor Bob Wells (Opequon District) and Gary Unger (Back Creek District candidate) feel the same way. Ask the candidates how they feel about increased taxes.
When confronted by restaurant owners about this, Mr. Oates said that “restaurant dining is optional”. Well restaurant owners need customers to survive, and for the Frederick First Supervisor candidates to come out against business owners and consumers and call for higher taxes, shows that what myself and others have been saying – Frederick First is nothing more than a group of tax and spend liberals.
For those of you in Frederick County, please vote for your Republican Supervisor candidates:
Josh Ludwig for Board Chair
John Jewell for Back Creek District
Robin Cooke for Opequon District
Heather Lockridge for Gainesboro District.

Let’s tax taxicabs and their foreign owners with names like Massoud! They deliver people door to door, people who are expensive to support. Tax the taxis! It’s in the name — TAXi, so let’s do it!
Are both “Frederick First” and Republican candidates on the ballots?
