Then ten polling stations are now open in the Republican Firehouse Primary in the 10th district. Crowds are large at all polling stations, surprisingly heavy turnout. At Hamilton Station the line was down a long hallway and out the door but it moved right along. Many, many, volunteers to handle the crowd. Everything was running very smoothly other than difficult parking. The lot was filled with people waiting in line to grab a space from those exiting. Hollingshead and his wife were there, along with several Marshall supporters, Lind supporters and a large group for Comstock.
At Stonebridge 636 people have voted as of 11:20.
Some grumbling about the ballot, some found it confusing although I did not.
Prior to the polls opening I’m hearing that Howie Lind signs are blanketing Centreville polling station. He has been door knocking there for weeks and expects thousands to turn out and vote for him. He also door knocked Lovettsville and he’s the only candidate with signs out here.
Let us know what you’re hearing and seeing when you vote.
