Axiom Strategies has chosen to survey voters in 7 swing counties in 7 battleground states. Those states are Virginia, Ohio, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Florida, Colorado and North Carolina. Over the last month Trump’s percentages have risen in all states. He now leads in all counties except for Loudoun County Virginia. In Loudoun Trump closed Hillary’s lead of 8% to only 3%, just barely over the 2.6% margin of error.
Results in Loudoun as of July 15 (June results in parentheses) are:
Donald Trump: 41% (37%)
Hillary Clinton: 44% (45%)
Gary Johnson: 7% (6%)
Someone else: 3% (6%)
Undecided: 5% (7%)
When Loudoun voters were asked whose record of scandals was more damaging:
Hillary Clinton: 45% (37%)
Donald Trump: 42% (50%)
Equally damaging: 9% (9%)
Unsure: 4% (4%)
