Polls are showing Trump gaining on Clinton. Trump is within 2 to 4 points of beating her in the general election and within 4 points of beating her states like New Jersey and Michigan! As people see more of Trump, and Hillary’s email problems get worse with the FBI report, Donald Trump will soon surpass her in the polls.
Why is this happening? Because the nation as a whole is sick to death of political correctness and lack of free speech in our country. The people are tired of the bullies on the left who want to tell us what to think and say and forbid any utterance that they may disagree with. Colleges must have ‘free speech zones’ and even they aren’t enough for the Special Snowflakes whose delicate ears can’t take hearing the word Trump or any speech that denies climate change is caused by humans. Colleges must have ‘safe zones’ where no student can be offended by anything, ever. Free speech on our college campuses does not exist. If students can’t have open discussions how far is it until none of us can have open discussions about anything the left disagrees with? The average voter is fed up with the left’s bullying. Along comes Donald Trump who won’t tolerate it and will stand up to them.
The press has long been complicit with the bullying from the left. They like to see themselves as part of the liberal elite ‘in crowd’ in Washington and beyond. Yesterday Trump stood up to them, even calling one them a sleaze. Cheers could be heard across the country! Finally!
Law professor Glenn Reynolds discusses this bullying in recent column entitled “Donald Trump is the Response to the Bullying Culture”. Reynolds quotes an earlier column by Yale professor David Gelernter,
“Political correctness. Trump hasn’t made it a campaign theme exactly, but he mentions it often with angry disgust. Reporters, pundits, and the other candidates treat it as a sideshow, a handy way for Trump (King Kong Jr.) to smack down the pitiful airplanes that attack him as he bestrides his mighty tower, roaring. But the analysts have it exactly backward. Political correctness is the biggest issue facing America today. Even Trump has just barely faced up to it. The ironic name disguises the real nature of this force, which ought to be called invasive leftism or thought-police liberalism or metastasized progressivism. The old-time American mainstream, working- and middle-class white males and their families, is mad as hell about political correctness and the havoc it has wreaked for 40 years — havoc made worse by the flat refusal of most serious Republicans to confront it.”
Republicans and Conservatives have been bullied for decades and our leaders have done nothing to stop it. Our leaders have been wimps, now we have Donald Trump who won’t be bullied by the liberal elite and won’t shut up when the left demands silence. Is it any wonder that groups of people across the country, from bikers to Home Schoolers to small business owners to conservative college students who are cheering him on?
The electorate is mad as hell at political correctness and suppression of free speech and they aren’t going to take it anymore. That’s why Donald Trump will win in November, because the voters finally have someone who will stand up the bullies!
