Cynthia Dunbar, a Republican candidate for Congress in the 6th district, has received two more impressive endorsements. First, Cynthia has the support of the Susan B. Anthony group, the largest pro-life in America with 600,000 members. Former Congresswoman Marilyn Musgrave, SBA List’s Vice President of Government Affairs, had this to say in her endorsement:
“We are proud to endorse Cynthia Dunbar, who exemplifies the courageous pro-life, pro-woman leadership SBA List exists to support. As a delegate to the 2016 Republican National Convention, she worked to craft the strongest pro-life platform in the Republican Party’s history. She is deeply committed to ending late-term abortion and taxpayer funding of America’s largest abortion business, Planned Parenthood. We trust Cynthia to spearhead the fight for life in Congress and urge pro-life Virginians to unite behind her.”
Former Minnesota Congresswoman Michelle Bachman has also endorsed Cynthia Dunbar:
“Cynthia Dunbar’s long track record of standing firm on conservative issues comes from her core beliefs. Her faith in God and commitment to the Constitution are what guide her every decision and enable her to stand boldly in opposition to the establishment. I am proud to give her my full endorsement in her bid for Congress.”—Michelle Bachmann, Former Presidential Candidate and Congresswoman
Dunbar responded to this endorsement saying:
I am tremendously honored to have earned the endorsement of someone I respect as much as Michelle Bachmann. She is one of the earliest founders of the conservative movement and she recognizes other true battle-tested warriors who have been in the trenches. Many politicians like to claim to have a record of standing; unfortunately, very few actually have the scars to prove they have won any meaningful conservative victories. The movement of empowering and engaging the people that she helped start was one of the major reasons we have President Trump in the White House. But if we continue to elect politicians instead of champions to office, the fact that they have an (R) behind their name means nothing. We have both chambers in congress and yet we are failing to deliver our promises to the American people. Just look at the Omnibus Bill and ask yourself if all Republicans are the same. As you can see, it is crucial that we elect true culture warriors to Congress and not Republican career politicians.
To have Michelle’s endorsement in my campaign for Congress is an honor. The support we’ve received from conservative leaders across the country clearly shows that we are the only campaign in this race with a record of fighting on behalf of the people, not the establishment. We are humbled to add Michelle to the ever-growing list of principled conservatives who have joined our team.
