Vote Irregularities in Loudoun – A woman in Loudoun County’s “East Lovettsville” precinct went to vote today and asked for a Republican ballot. When she got it, she discovered that the ballot had already been marked for Marco Rubio. When she brought this to the attention of the election workers, they didn’t know what to do. They handed her a new ballot, and she did not know what they did with the “pre-marked” Rubio ballot.
The woman, who was an election worker in Fairfax County for 7 years, knows that this was not the proper procedure for dealing with this issue, and spoke up because she is concerned about the integrity of the vote. Notifications about this incident have been sent to RPV, local Loudoun election officials, and the Ted Cruz campaign. If you see or here about any other similar issues, please share them.
UPDATE: A commenter pointed out a second person getting a pre-marked Rubio ballot in the Richmond area. Once may be an irregularity, but twice is a pattern.
