Thank you, really thank you!
Great speech, really great speech…
Right after I finish clapping, I’d ask her how placating these people her entire career in the Senate will end up working out for her and some of her like-minded colleagues. Those for whom she has appeased oh these many years are coming to eat her.
Senate Republicans play the role of enablers and placaters for 40 plus years, finally they acknowledge the truth, give some heartfelt and tremendous speeches, and I’m supposed to get excited. I am excited in the short term but smart enough to know this is short lived. I give credit where credit is due and applaud the new awaking and honest rhetoric from Senate Republicans. However, this does not mean I can forget history as well as draw some logical conclusions as to how we got here.
When we exhibit this behavior on a daily basis then I will truly get excited about our teams’ chances in the long run. We can’t win with a part-time passioned defense of liberty that shows up now and then, or for the really big battles. Liberty, freedom, and the Greatness of America is lost every day at the hands of the progressive left in an ongoing series of small battles. The left has a long view and knows how to chip away, day after day, month after month, year after year.
Until we learn how to play this game on an ongoing basis we will forever be behind the curve.
