WHAT IF Republicans get out in record numbers with their friends and families on Tuesday and vote Republican right down the line?
WHAT IF the Republicans keep control of the House of Representatives and increase their numbers in the Senate by 2 or 3?
I will proffer that dominos will fall. I’m suggesting that the path to making America great again will be smoother, with a lot fewer domestic roadblocks.
In this scenario, Nancy Pelosi will become weakened and vulnerable. Pelosi already has Democratic critics who felt she has stayed on too long as the party’s House leader, blocked a younger generation of lawmakers from taking power and failed to lead Democrats back to majority power. But that situation has gotten worse in the first few months of 2018.
Chuck Schumer will also become vulnerable to leadership challenges in his own party. He could even be voted out of his “minority leader” position in the Senate, and he would be extremely vulnerable to being primaried in 2020.
None of the socialist-leaning members of Congress a will have the opportunity to undermine America from the inside. The ones that do get elected will be isolated and ineffective in breaking America.
President Trump will not be impeached, and he will surely complete the job of Making America Great, probably even greater than ever before. He’ll continue to install judges that have a singular eye to Law, Justice and the Constitution, further frustrating the political left.
In the end, it could be decades before the Democrat party could come to national power again. No moderate democrat will ever risk their own prosperity again with a Democratic congress or president.
In fact, in the same way that Gettysburg was the “high water mark of the Confederacy,” 2009 and President Obama will become the “high mark of Socialism” in American Politics. How glorious it will be to have that stain behind us rather than before us!
In short, as much as our lives have improved under Trump, they could progress even further. We will all be happier, wealthier, and more secure. Real, meaningful healthcare reform. Budget cuts and additional tax relief for working Americans.
For all of those foreign leaders who have consoled themselves in the idea that Trump is a temporary aberration and that America will go back to its regularly scheduled programming soon, giving away the store and not putting its own people first, it would be a rude awakening that they may have to negotiate a fair deal with the US.
If you neglect to vote or fail to vote Republican, the momentum created by President Trump will be slowed to a crawl. It is up to every Republican, conservative or moderate to vote and bring your friends.
Can we cause a Red Wave? Maybe. But can we stop a Blue wave? Definitely! Take a day off or half a day to get Republicans to the polls!
