Former state senator Republican Amanda Chase, who refers to herself as “Trump in heels”, is running for Governor. She is the second Republican this week to mount a campaign against front runner Lt. Governor Winsome Earle-Sears.
Chase previously ran for Governor in 2020 but did not secure the nomination.
In an email to her supporters she said:
“I’m absolutely humbled by the number of you who have contacted me to run for governor. The unsolicited response has been overwhelming to the point I’ve decided to respond,”
“We need ‘Trump in Heels’ if we’re going to defeat Abigail Spanberger in November,” she added. “I am that candidate.”
Chase will need 10,000 valid signatures of registered voters by April 3rd ,with 400 from each congressional district, to get on the ballot.

Why on earth is Amanda Chase even running for Governor…..again? It’s a joke!!
Is it because she needs her donors hard earned money to pay for her phone, food, gas, and slush fund since she has not had a job most of her life? That’s been the M.O. throughout her political life.
Let’s put this 3 time loser, has been, fake, lying, election chaser in the dust of a failed political history where she should have been put years ago.

The GOP in VA has had zero leadership for the last two plus decades. Local county conmittees are small, continue to decline as voters in VA are not party aligned. They insist on working within old ways. Political success today won’t work by just door knocking. The Amanda Chase movement is evidence of just how much Winsome has derailed her own campaign by her anti and then soft support for Trump. She has already lost. Amanda Chase is the most qualified but the GOP gods will never allow it. Can’t see Trump behind Sears but he does know Amanda Chase. With Trump she would have a real shot but he is a wee busy and VA is not important in the ELectoral scheme in national political races. We are the place where Trump’s swamp creatures live along with parts of Maryland. Put the blame in the right place-The GOP itself. Until NOVA moves more Trumpy we are as blue as the $10 mil Spanberger already has to spend.
