Thursday was the deadline for candidates to register to run for Congress to replace Jennifer Wexton in the 10th district. She is not seeking re-election due to health concerns. There are 12 Democrat candidates and 4 Republican candidates competing for the nomination of their party.
The 10th Congressional district is comprised of all of Rappahannock County, Fauquier County, and Loudoun County, parts of Fairfax County and Prince William County, and the independent cities of Manassas and Manassas Park.
The 4 republicans who are running for the nomination include Mike Clancy who also ran 2 years ago. He is an attorney and technology company executive.

A first generation immigrant from India, Republican Manga Anantatmula, is also running. She is pro parent, pro freedom and pro women’s rights.

Yes, you are correct. However, when you look at dysfunction of the last 35 years in Congress, would we not be far better off electing the dead? Such as Tom Clancy?
