Operation Fire Tim Kaine part 2: Homestretch to Nomination Day

written by Bradley Driskill Jr May 27, 2024

Ok Virginians, were in the homestretch of the June 18th Primary Election to nominate the one who will have the extremely hard but possible task to flip Senator Tim Kaine’s Senate seat once and for all.

No doubt that much has changed since the first part of this article was released earlier this year and even my view and opinion of those in this race by the facts and actions on their end have changed tremendously, so with that being said I present you with a very brief yet very informative piece of who and what you are voting on.

I personally endorsed and voted for Chuck Smith whom I believe to be the most solid conservative choice in this race and has been working hard to present to the people what he can bring to the Senate chamber to help better the welfare of our Republic and to carry out former President Trump’s America First Agenda.

I also had the chance to meet Eddie Garcia the other evening and I can say that I am impressed with his appealing platform and the way he has reached out to Virginians throughout the Commonwealth pretty much nonstop and if not Chuck Smith I personally hope to see Garcia win the nomination.

So it is safe to say that he(Garcia) is my 2nd choice. Johnathan Emord, while I haven’t had the chance to meet him, I’ll admit that all I know about him is that he was a Constitutional lawyer and a successful one at that with a libertarian appeal that could draw Independent and Moderate voters.

But will that be enough to convince Republican voters that he is the man to take on Tim Kaine in November? We shall see in a matter of days!

Now as for Scott Parkinson and Hung Cao, I have a strong feeling that by nominating either of them that Virginians would be flushing any chance of flipping this seat down the toilet.

Parkinson is a candidate who screams establishment and shows clear evidence that he has full support from the do nothing RINOs in Washington who are all business as usual when it comes to “representing the people” and his demeanor shows that for the right deal, he would be a politician willing to compromise the values we hold dear.

And last but not least, Cao has shown that he is not only unfit but undeserving of the honor to serve the people of Virginia’s Commonwealth with constitutional representation, or misrepresentation in his case.

According to many people I’ve interacted with on Facebook and have seen in their, he(Cao) has shown in his actions and words that the couldn’t care less about Virginians, complaining that certain areas of the Commonwealth are “too far” for him to travel to (for goodness sake Cao, this is a statewide race, what did you expect?), he also displays the attitude that he is “too good” to debate with his fellow opponents and he has yet to still answer to why the money from his PAC was never seen nor received by the candidates it was suppose to benefit!

Bottom line folks, this race as I’ve stated time and time again is extremely crucial and if we are gonna put up the fight to do the difficult task of firing Tim Kaine then we need to be wise and educated on who and what we are voting on when we go to the ballot box, whether now or on June 18th.

Don’t make this vote lightly, once it’s cast there is no turning back.

I endorsed Jonathan Emord back in 12/23 because he is a man of prayer and has faithfully spent 8:30-9:00 on a zoom Virginia prayer call for years every Monday morning. Now I have heard him speak and seen him in debate and in awe endorse him as the most competent, prepared and engaging candidate for US senate I have ever heard in my long life! He is the adult in the room who knows how to govern according to our constitution.

My wife and I devoted Memorial Day weekend vetting the candidates.
Our observations are as follows.
-Scott Parkinson is the RINO du jour of this campaigns season; the elitists choice, imo.
-I agree with James Poplar for the first time. Hung Cao is a NOVA elitist, who needs to work on his humility. (Trump opened up his big mouth too soon, and supported Cao, just to suck up to the Libertarians).
-We love Chuck Smith. He was high on my wife’s and my delegate ballot a few years ago; I forgot which one. However, he has lost too many times to turn it around.
-Eddie Garcia was my second choice until my wife told me he wanted to give illegal aliens a pass. And, she is politically plugged in.
-Johnathan Emord is far and away our first choice; head and shoulders above the rest. He also thinks out of the box, and is not controlled by AIPAC.

I just realized how much I agreed with the author.
Unintentional, I assure Mr. Driscoll; however, I hope our opinions have legs. 😊

Not sure what happened to my post. I said that I had selected Jonathan for his bearing and demeanor. He strikes me as the right candidate to take on little Timmy. He’s head and shoulders above Timmy but then again, so are most of us.

Attend Loudoun GOP’s most fun event of the year, the Jamboree, and cast your vote for Senate and 10th district nominee in the straw poll. https://loudoungop.com/event/summer-jamboree-2024/

I have to chuckle as the OP-ED NewsBreak: “Hung Cao proved his true colors as an elitist against rural Virginians” which i beleive the author is references was written by Susan Swecker the chair of the Democratic Party of Virginia, need i say more ….
