The death of DEI is exaggerated. Will educators, etc. hired to promote equity over merit be retained?

Wasn’t one of Raymond Wood’s killers (Victor Rodas) moved from Delaware to Brookville High School (Campbell County, Va.) Then Republican Va. Gubernatorial Candidate Ed Gillespie used this murder as a campaign ploy, he eventually lost to Blackface Ralph Northam.
Just a few weeks ago there was a stabbing/slashing of an illegal alien by another illegal alien on a job site in Bedford County, Va.
I don’t expect any Virginia Republicans to step up and speak out about the sanctuary employment that Virginia offers these illegals.
Is there a meme with Virginia Republicans with their heads in the sand?
Don’t expect Jason Miyares to win AG the second time if he doesn’t speak up about the sanctuary employment in Virginia.
Virginia Republicans could have addressed this 12 years ago in 2012.
