Cruz Ground Game Firing on All Cylinders – A pair of articles caught my eye today that outline the superior ground game employed by the Ted Cruz campaign. The first is by John Stossel which covers the Cruz team’s impressive data operation. The Cruz team is taking a page from the Obama campaign’s incredibly successful data operations from 2008 and 2012. This allows the Cruz campaign to target their efforts much more effectively.
The second article from The Daily Beast outlines the work being done by the Ted Cruz Super PAC, Keep the Promise. Instead of just spending millions on TV ads like most Super PACs, Keep the promise is deploying hundreds of people to go door to door, working to contact voters and bring them to the polls. According to the article, they have already knocked on about 93,000 doors to date, and plan to hit over 100,000 doors by the primary.
Read the articles for yourself, and you will see that no other campaign effort even comes close to the work the Cruz team is putting in.
