Today the Democrat led State Board of Elections refused Delegate Nick Freitas’s last appeal to get on this year’s ballot to run again for his seat in the House of Delegates. The board also refused to allow another Republican candidate on the ballot in the 30th district.
It would appear that Freitas will be forced to mount a write-in campaign to keep his seat in the House of Delegates.
