Empire of Lies

“When lies become the legal tender of the land, truth becomes the counterfeit currency to be hunted down and eliminated.”

Like many of you, I’m well past mere alarm about the corruption of our political, cultural, and religious institutions, which has now strengthened into a Cat 5 hurricane threatening to flatten what’s left of the Republic.  

The elites, the ruling class, is doubling down on its mission to turn the US into a top-down command economy run by corporate plutocrats, administrative “experts,” bought and paid for professional politicians and so-called scientists, all protected by lawfare justice, judicial dicta, and heavily armed federal agents of the Administrative State. They also want a “lowest common denominator culture” that wallows in various combinations of self-analyzation, self-actualization, debauchery, self-pity, and class envy instead of the grit and hard work that it took to build the country in the first place.

And, finally, once and for all, the ruling class wants to chase God outta town – too much competition for the behemoth, all-seeing, all-powerful state.

Of course, extinguishing your role and rights as a citizen is very much integral to the plan.

None of this could be happening with the full reliance on the Big Lie. The lie is that the ruling elite classes all work on your behalf and in your best interest. Depending on your point of view, they are changing things up or destroying stuff because we’re a terrible society filled with racists, haters, killers, and such, and the nation’s prosperity is evil, literally taken from someone else. So, to save you, they’re going to fix everything that hasn’t really worked. (Unless you’ve seen the other 200-odd countries in the world and how they largely don’t work. But I digress.)  

When confronted, our would-be rulers flat-out lie with a smile. One lie becomes a gusher of lies to cover up the original lie. And more often than not, a new law is devised to “remedy” whatever disaster the first lie caused. They believe that the average voter is so stupid or distracted that all they have to do to explain the serial disasters they’ve created is an outcome of too much freedom for you and not enough smart people running your life.

This operational rationale – covering up a lie with a lie – is so advanced that the lies are now thicker than flying insects in a Louisiana swamp in August. The ruling class lies about every single issue, proposal, idea, program, and foreign policy adventure.

A perfect – if minor – illustration is last January’s announcement that the Biden gang wanted to “enhance” home appliance standards, including gas stoves. A hullabaloo ensued, and everyone, including the appointed, enfeebled president, assured the citizens that their gas stoves were safe – no one wants to take your gas stove away! They were all lying, of course.

The very next month, a Consumer Product Safety Commission member drew the ire of Republican lawmakers, suggesting gas stoves posed a “hidden hazard” and “could be banned.” This past September, the Department of Energy (DOE) issued a rule mandating new standards for residential gas furnaces to reduce “greenhouse gas emissions,” according to the agency’s press release. Obviously, gas appliances – including your gas stove – are already being targeted by the “green crazies.” California and New York are already advancing plans to prohibit new gas stove and furnace hookups at the state level.

Washington doesn’t even blush at the lies. As the country song says, they lie like a “rich man’s rug.”  Or they are dishonest in the presentation of facts and circumstances. (Mark Twain quipped that a half-truth is the most cowardly of lies.) They do this with the economy all the time, without fail. What they claim is heralded one day as an outstanding, wise, or cunning achievement is invariably a “cooked up” number that is later “revised” – or factoid manipulated or simply invented to serve an immediate purpose. Like taking food and fuel costs out of the inflation index. Huh?

The climate change hysteria is almost laughable – where the “facts” – even by the government’s NASA and NOAA, for Pete’s sake! – have been shown time and again to be cooked up to “prove” that we’re all going to boil to death or drown in eight years!

There is hardly an issue or an event where we’re not being lied to by the government or misled. These past weeks, the Biden Crime Syndicate told us that “not one dollar” of the 6 billion dollars of Iran’s embargoed oil money pledged in exchange for two prisoners has been released and that any money would be closely monitored when released. Of course, money is fungible, so that pool of funds only frees other money to be spent on its terror activities worldwide. It’s a misleading lie to cover up the stupidity that knows no truth.

We will spend years dissecting the intentional lies about the COVID crisis. They are as deep and cold as a Buffalo snowstorm. Tens of thousands died needlessly, and untold millions lost their very livelihood because of the manipulation of the truth and outright lies by the very doctors in charge of our nation’s response – and the lies continue without apology or accountability. In fact, the coverup of the lies is now being defended by more lies, especially concerning the efficacy and side effects of the so-called vaccines and boosters that themselves have caused tens of thousands of deaths.

Of course, the shocking administrative coup d’état in 2016 to remove a lawfully elected president should leave every American, regardless of political affiliations, fearful for the future of a representative government for and by the people. It was an intricate maze of lies – and treason – whose planning will no doubt be used for future presidents that the ruling class doesn’t approve of. (Perhaps JFK was the prototype for direct action against a sitting president? The lies about that event continue sixty years later through the ongoing refusal to disclose all the case files and the conveniently missing documents. Sixty years!)

The undeniable paper trail and evidence of the Washington insurgency in 2016, based on a mountain of bald-faced lies against Donald J. Trump, is now a matter of public record (and was evident since 2017 as I and many others wrote about) through recovered emails, texts, FOIA disclosures, FISA warrants, and court proceedings, followed by an internal Inspector General report. A Special Prosecutor further elaborated upon the matter. But anything is fair game if you eliminate the Bad Orange Man, right?

Only the willfully blind can pretend this was not an organized putsch at the top of the Department of Justice, the FBI, and the intelligence community. Former President Obama was directly involved, as his documented White House meeting on January 7, 2017 reveals, a fact he doesn’t have to lie about because the ruling cabal won’t ask him. But that’s another story.

It’s a hot mess of lies and more lies to cover up the lies. Now, the bad guys are using lawfare – the weaponization of the legal structure to try to destroy a political rival. Think Venezuela, Brazil, Iran, Russia, China –  a few from the long list of second and third-world hellholes – and you get an idea of the future. Destroying a rival in the legal system is much cleaner than assassination – but protecting the ruling class and the lies means that’s never off the table.

Again, you don’t have to like or support Donald Trump to understand that if they can get away with this once, then there is no end to the drama and manipulation of the system by the Big Lie. The rub is that if they can do it to him, what makes you think they can’t and won’t do it to you when you stick your head out of the foxhole?

When he left office, President Reagan, echoing President Eisenhower’s concern about the military-industrial complex a generation earlier, talked about Washington’s “iron triangle” – the Congress, news media, and special interests, including the behemoth administrative state. Like the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria, President Reagan warned his fellow countrymen of an impending catastrophe represented by the iron triangle; [they are] “attempting to rule the nation according to its interests and desires more than the nation’s.”

Forty years on, President Reagan’s warning is being fully realized. The ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria fell in an earthquake and would never be rebuilt. One has to wonder if the same fate awaits the nation as it measures the collapse of public trust in its institutions and lies upon which it sits.

Nowhere is this more evident than in the application of Justice and the fraying of the foundational concept of equal Justice for all – the rule of law vs. the rule of the ruling class elite (read more in Justice Denied, Justice Lost here).
