Manassas Mayor Hal Parrish is running for the seat in House of Delegates that his father held for 24 years, from 1982 until his death in 2006. Parrish’s father, Harry J. Parrish, had also been Mayor of Manassas for 18 years, beginning in 1963, before his election to the House of Delegates. The seat is currently held by Delegate Jackson Miller who is running for Clerk of the Circuit Court in Prince William County in a special election to be held on April 18th.
