Today voters in the 6th district of Georgia went to the polls in greater numbers than ever before to vote for a replacement for former Congressman Tom Price who is now the head of Health and Human Services. More money was spent on this Congressional race than any Congressional district ever, more than $50 million with $26.2 million coming from outside interests.
Many media sources, including the Washington Post, said this election would be a referendum on Trump’s Presidency. According to the left, this election would prove how many of Trump’s voters regret their vote. Now it appears Republican Karen Handel wins easily, by 5%. The NY Times is has declared Handel the winner as has the Washington Post and the Washington Times.
