Virginia Democrats have once again shown that they stand with Kamala Harris and radical anti-Israel activists over the United States’ strongest Middle East ally.
Senator Tim Kaine, who is running for re-election, and Representative Don Beyer both shamefully skipped Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s address to Congress today. This is the second time Senator Kaine has literally turned his back on Israeli after he skipped Mr. Netanyahu’s 2015 address to Congress.
Even as Israel continues to face threats from all sides, Don Beyer cynically claimed that Mr. Netanyahu’s speech was nothing but an attempt to “meddle” in American elections.
Virginia Democrats are clearly taking their cues from Kamala Harris and the Democrat Party elites, who have abandoned Israel in favor of the radical pro-Hamas protestors who today defaced historical monuments and burned American flags just steps away from the Capitol as Mr. Netanyahu spoke.
By standing in solidarity with those anti-American, anti-Israel extremists rather than the vast majority of Americans who want the United States to stand with Israel, Tim Kaine and Don Beyer have disgraced themselves and proven that they are not worthy of voters’ trust.
