Some of the Winners and Losers of 2024

I’ve been around for many years now, and have seen a lot of things since I first got involved in politics, working the phones and the polls for Ronald Reagan/Frank Wolf in 1980.  But one thing I never expected to see until a couple of years ago was a former President be re-elected President again (Trump).  There were a lot of winners and a lot of losers last week.  Let’s take a few minutes to discuss or list them.

Winner – The average American.  We have been called “deplorable”.  We have been called “Nazi”.  We have been called stupid.  We’ve been called racist so many times that we have lost count.  Most famously, we were called “garbage” by Joe Biden.  Well we may not be as rich off of government service as Joe Biden.  But we certainly were well heard this past election cycle.  And even the biggest Democrat supporters know that We the People are still a force to be reckoned with. 

Loser – Corporate media.  We’ve known for years how corrupt and biased they are.  But their bias and corruption was laid out for all to see in June, when Joe Biden laid out for the world how incapacitated he was.  Everyone could see it, and yet the White House gaslighted us.  And the likes of MSNBC/CNN/ABC et al told us that we should not believe our lying eyes.  Once Joe Biden had that horrible performance, they could no longer cover up for him, and then helped force him from office.  The legacy media then tried to make Kamala Harris, the most intellectually vacuous person even to be on a presidential ballot, well they tried to make her smart.  Kamala Harris tried to run the same campaign as Joe Biden did in 2020 (in hiding) yet after seeing Donald Trump take a bullet to the head, team Harris saw that would not work.  Once the entire world saw that Ms. Harris is intellectually vacuous, the legacy media was again revealed to be lying to us to enact their bizarre social agenda. 

The end result, MSNBC and CNN are hemorrhaging viewers, and both are likely to slash their staffs by hundreds of employees.  Most of us now get out news from independent sources or NewsMax.  Me, I watch Megyn Kelly, Black and White News, Newsmax.  And I read independent conservative sources such as Breitbart/Redstate/The Bull Elephant/The Federalist etc. 

Winner – Rasmussen and Atlas Intel polling.  These 2 polling firms could see, better than everyone else, what was happening in the country.  Most of the polling firms were trying to make news or to make the race closer than it was.  Rasmussen and Atlas Intel both predicted that not only would Trump win, but that he would get around 310 electoral votes, and that number could be even higher.  Special shout out to Depressed Ginger, a You Tube content creator who was mostly reporting on these 2 polls and told hundreds of thousands of people that they were being gas lit by the NY Times etc. 

Loser – Alan Lichtman.  Mr. Lichtman, who calls himself the best predictor of elections in the USA, said there was no way that Trump could win.  Lichtman goes by “keys” instead of polling.  Which is fine, I don’t doubt that his 13 keys need to be paid attention to.  But Mr. Lichtman’s liberal bias was so surreal that he could not see that the average person was hurting because of the Biden/Harris economy.  His bias was so bad that he didn’t see the WH coverup of Mr. Biden’s health as a scandal.  And then instead of admitting his bias afterwards, Mr. Lichtman, in true leftist fashion, called us all racists instead.  Even though the Trump coalition was largely non white. 

Loser – Wokeism.  Being gaslit by polite society into thinking that males could play in female sports, and that if you’re Hispanic/African American/etc and you don’t support Harris, then you’re a misogynist didn’t work well in the past, and it especially didn’t work well November 5.  90% of Americans do not approve of males beating up females in the 2024 Olympics.  90% of Americans do not think that Lia Thomas should be swimming against Riley Gaines.  The overwhelming majority of Americans, both male and female, white and non-white don’t want to be bullied into voting for someone based on their gender or skin color. 

Loser – Ranked choice voting.  Ranked choice voting was on the ballot in several states this year.  So far it has lost in – Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, and South Dakota.  It was also on the ballot in Alaska (where it currently exists) and the vote is too close to call.  Missouri also had an initiative that called for ranked choice voting to never be considered – which also passed.  Ranked choice voting is a horrible idea, and why Alaska passed it a few years ago is beyond comprehension. 

Loser – Hollywood celebs.  The George Clooney’s of the world took one on the chin this past election cycle.  They went out for Kamala Harris big time, and lost.  Oprah Winfrey has been shown to be a scam artist who is for sale to the highest bidder.  Taylor Swift’s sales went down after endorsing Kamala Harris.    

Winner – Donald J Trump – written off after January 6 2021, and blamed for things he had no control over. Trump remade his image and became the most disciplined campaigner this year.  He won an overwhelming majority in both the electoral college and popular vote on November 5.  All this while under indictment for specious charges, and after having been convicted in a kangaroo court by an out of control District Attorney.  Donald Trump single handedly beat off the Deep State and showed the entire world that the Biden regime was trying to turn us into a banana republic.  And if it wasn’t for Donald Trump, Biden Harris may well have turned us into a banana republic.
