Across the commonwealth the Democrats are spending enormous amounts of money in a few districts that they believe they can hold/flip to control the House of Delegates and the state Senate next month with an eye to stopping Governor Youngkin’s agenda.
Democrat groups are spending millions of dollars to secure these seats:
- District 22: Democrat Aaron Rouse – Republican Kevin Adams
- District 30: Democrat Danica Roem – Republican Bill Woolf
- District 16: Democrat Schuyler VanValkenburg – Republican Siobhan Dunnavant
- District 24: Democrat Monty Mason – Republican Danny Diggs
- District 31: Democrat Russet Perry – Republican Juan Pablo Segura
- District 27: Democrat Joel Griffin – Republican Tara Durant – independent Monica Gary
- District 17: Democrat Clint Jenkins – Republican Emily Brewer
In the House of Delegates, Democrats are targeting the following seats:
- District 97: Democrat Michael Feggans – Republican Karen Greenhalgh
- District 84: Democrat Nadarius Clark – Republican Michael Dillender
- District 21: Democrat Joshua Thomas – Republican John Stirrup
- District 65: Democrat Joshua Cole – Republican Lee Peters
- District 57: Democrat Susanna Gibson – Republican David Owen
- District 82: Democrat Kimberly Pope Adams – Republican Kim Taylor
- District 89: Democrat Karen Lynette Jenkins – Republican Baxter Ennis
- District 22: Democrat Travis Nembhard – Republican Ian Lovejoy
- District 30: Democrat Robert Banse – Republican Geary Higgins
Unfortunately both my House and Senate districts are on this list and I live in the most Republican part of Loudoun county. We must take these seats!
Vote early if you possibly can. (Democrats win by killing us with early voting.) Your vote will then be secure and all those mailers will cease! More information on where to vote early in person (you no longer need any excuse to vote early) or to vote by mail if you prefer, here. I voted early in person last week and it was so easy. There were no lines at all to sign in and get a ballot. Republican sample ballots were available. Voting was a breeze and I got to see several friends. It was a very pleasant experience. Please do it!
