Scott York announced months ago that he would not seek another term as Chairman of the Board of Supervisors in Loudoun. Now it appears he is reconsidering a run. [read_more] In a statement to the Loudoun Times, regarding Shawn Williams, Scott York said
“Nobody condones” Williams’ behavior, York said, while adding Williams has soundly served his district.
When asked whether he still plans to leave the board after this year, York said only, “I reserve the right to change my mind.”
Since the deadline has passed for York to run in the Republican Convention in May, he would need to file for office as an Independent, something he has done in the past.
