Last night in a unanimous vote conservative Jeff Morse (Dulles) was elected chairman of Loudoun County School Board. One board member was not at the meeting, Democrat Joy Maloney (Broad Run).
Morse was nominated for Chairman by the previous chair, Eric Hornberger (Ashburn), who has been chairman since he was elected to the board in 2012.
Chairman Morse’s Dulles district is experiencing the biggest surge in school enrollment. He is a 20 year Navy veteran and is now a lead associate for Booze, Allen, Hamilton.
