Purcellville Vice Mayor Carl “Ben Nett” has been charged with 6 felony counts, four for violating Virginia Criminal Information Network, and two related to bid rigging and conspiracy. Former Purcellville Mayor and current town manager, Kwasi Fraser, has been charges with two felonies for bid rigging and conspiracy. Both are now out on bail.
The charges came after Virginia State Police Criminal Investigation launched by Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares and recommendations by a grand jury.
